NPR talks to Joan Didion about Blue Nights

"When we talk about mortality, we're talking about our children."

NPR has a talk with the incomparable Joan Didion about her newest memoir, Blue Nights. In it Didion writes honestly and openly about her daughters sudden death and what it means to survive the pain of surviving past your family.  This is a seven minute interview, so it's a nice bite sized look at Didion's process and purpose for the book.  Listen to the interview by clicking here and find Blue Nights in our Biographies section at B DIDION.
