NaNoWriMo: One month, One Novel!
It's November, which means it's every closet novelist's favorite time of the year: National Novel Writing Month, otherwise known as NaNoWriMo. Your mission, should you choose to accept it: 50,000 words in 30 days. NaNoWriMo is all about quantity over quality in the belief that it will free you to simply be creative.
Looking for some books on writing to jump start your story? Check out the 808.3 nonfiction section for titles like "This Year You Write Your Novel" by Walter Mosley and Janet Evanovich's "How I Write."
