P.D. James is best known for her Adam Dalgliesh mysteries, but her newest book is a far cry from Scotland Yard. In Death Comes to Pemberly James looks at what happens after Pride and Prejudice and it turns out its murder!

NPR talks to Joan Didion about Blue Nights
"When we talk about mortality, we're talking about our children."
NPR has a talk with the incomparable Joan Didion about her newest memoir, Blue Nights. In it Didion writes honestly and openly about her daughters sudden death and what it means to survive the pain of surviving past your family. This is a seven minute interview, so it's a nice bite sized look at Didion's process and purpose for the book.
